Hungarian Lunch or Dinner With Gypsy Music in Baricska Csárda

Baricska Csárda can be found in a unique environment, among ancient vines, in the heart of Balatonfüred, 600 metres from the harbour and Promenade, next to a vineyard that is also being currently cultivated. There is a fantastic view of Lake Balaton from the terrace covered by wild grapes. On Friday and Saturday evenings and Sundays at noon guests are entertained with gypsy music.

Hungarian Lunch or Dinner With Gypsy Music in Koloska Csárda

The typical Hungarian restaurant is located in the immediate vicinity of Koloska Valley at the bottom of the Tamás Hill which is the oldest hiking place of Balafonfüred.  In the cozy forest environment goulas soup, fishes from Lake Balaton, goose liver and crispy duck leg are the most popular dishes offered with excellent wines from Balatonfüred and Tihany regions. The appetite and the pleasant atmosphere are enhanced by gipsy music every day in the evenings.

Wine Tasting In Borbély Family Winery

Borbély family winery lies on a 23-hectare territory in the Badacsony wine region, at Lake Balaton, where both modern and traditional technologies are used to create fresh and unique taste harmonies. The winery is located on the left hand side of the road from Badacsonytomaj to Káptalantóti (1.5 kilometres from the Basalt Church). Visitors can taste the winery’s award-winning wines on the terrace or in the cellar - even in winter. The winery mainly have white wines but they can serve rose wines and one type of red wine (Piinot Noir9. The winery’s mission is to introduce the versatility of the different vineyard sites in its quality products. The family’s motto “Fiery wine, volcanic taste” is inspired their special wine selection.

Wine Tasting In Figula Winery

The Figula Winery has been managing its winery in one of the oldest Hungarian historic wine regions of Balatonfelvidék (the upper regions of Balaton) since 1993. The work of many long years resulted in an enlarged estate and an improved winery that is managed on a territory of 30 hectares in the regions of Balatonfüred, Balatonszőlős and Pécsely. Mihály Figula was awarded with the honourable title “Wine Maker of the Year”” as acknowledgement of his work. During the tasting program visitors will receive a beautiful view of the Bay Kerekedi and the Tihany Peninsula.
