GÖDÖLLÖ - QUEEN ELISABETH TOUR

Starting from Erzsébet Square drive to Gödöllő to visit the Palace of Gödöllő that is the so-called Hungarian Versailles located 30 km to the north of Budapest. It was built in baroque style and used to be a summer residence of Emperor Francis Joseph and his wife, Elisabeth (Sissy) in the second half of the 19th century. Interior visit, then walk in the former Royal Garden including the bower and pavilion. Coffee or cake in the Palace Café. Return to Budapest, the tour ends in the city centre.
